Monitored automatic fire alarm systems
Fire alarms save lives and it is your responsibility to ensure your building’s fire alarms are working properly.
MFB would like to remind you that it is an offence in Victoria to damage or interfere with a fire indicator panel or other apparatus that transmits the alarm signal to the fire services without a reasonable excuse. This includes resetting the fire indicator panel and any action that causes the transmission of the signal to the fire services to be isolated, disconnected or disabled.
