Modernising Victoria’s energy licence frameworkThe Essential Services Commission has announced a review of the energy licence framework and is calling for stakeholders to comment on ways the framework can be improved.A paper has been released which identifies a number of issues affecting the current licence framework in the context of a rapidly changing energy industry.Energy licences set out the conditions that energy businesses must meet to participate in the Victorian energy market and are administered by the Essential Services Commission.The Property Council will review the issues paper and prepare a submission to Government.
