Ministerial Orders for Retirement Villages for COVID-19
Due to the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministerial Orders for Retirement Villages for COVID 19, have been reissued by Hon Kevin Anderson, the Minister for Better Regulation and Innovation and now lapse on 31 March 2022. This includes a new Ministerial Order for Asset management plans.
The safety of residents and staff are paramount. The orders provide an exemption to certain obligations under the Retirement Villages Act, to allow operators and residents to put measures in place to address COVID-19, in line with Public Health Orders.
