Member Spotlight: Aqualand’s Immersion Room
Property Council NSW Members Aqualand have added a unique experience called an ‘Immersion Room’ to their Blue at Lavender Bay development and display suite. This concept significantly de-risks ‘buying off the plan’ for purchasers by providing a more virtual immersive experience to help customers to feel more connected to their property purchase during the construction period.
Aqualand’s Head of Sales & Marketing and Head of New Business Alex Adams has said “Our customers want to experience property in an immersive way and the general publics now expect greater levels of experiential marketing.”
“As we observe the macro environmental factors within society, advancements like VR headsets deliver dramatically difference ways to view content. Alongside the use of VR, we also see a trend towards shareable versions, made possible through advancements in augmented reality and mixed reality.”
Aqualand commissioned visionary Binyan CEO, Andrei Dolnikov and his team to help bring its new marketing concept to life, which resulted in a 4m x 4m black box being developed to showcase a 3-wall projection of the residences. Viewers are also able to touch the finishes that surround them in the physical space while standing at the kitchen bench in the apartment of their choice.
Blue by Aqualand is harbourside living at its very finest, designed by award-wining PTW Architects, the development takes in the harbour, northern district and skyline views. The one, two, and three-bedroom residences offer expansive open-plan layouts taking in the views of the harbour.
Aqualand Australia was established in 2014 and distinguishes itself as a developer of both Prime Foreshore Residences and Strategic Urban Generator. It has a long term aim of generating and fostering new communities, and often undertakes long-term projects which range up to 10 years in development.
