We welcome new members to the Property Council ranks and congratulate those who have recently won industry awards.
We are pleased to announce JWH Group has recently joined as a member. An entirely Western Australian, family owned organisation, JWH Group Pty Ltd has grown from employing 120 office staff in 2003 to currently 6 staff and in excess of 2,0 sub-contractors. A composite group of building companies situated in twelve locations with an even spread between metropolitan and regional areas, the group is now Western Australia’s third largest home builder, and a Top 10 project builder in size nationally with an annual turnover of approximately $400 million.
The JWH Group Building companies include well-known brands such as: Oswald Homes, Residential attitudes, Plunkett Homes, InVogue, New Level, Rural Building Co, WA Country Builders, SmoothStart and most recently SOMO.
MCS Security, sponsors of the Retailer Marketing Campaign of the Year and Shopping Centre of the Year at this year’s WA Property Awards, have themselves taken home a gong at the 2019 Australian Security Awards. Awarded in Melbourne in mid-October, MCS Security was named as the Outstanding Guarding Company of the Year nationally. Congratulations to our friends and sponsors at MCS Security on this fantastic achievement.
Congratulations to Tom Hoban at RPS Group who recently took home the Future Project Leader of the Year Award at the Project Management Achievement Awards in Melbourne. Tom sits on the Property Council’s Future Directions Committee and was last week named as a finalist in our own Future Leader of the Year Awards.
Our congratulations also extend to GHD who won the Grahame Heal Award for Water Sensitive Urban Design at the Australian Water Association’s WA Water Awards at the weekend. Partnering with the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, GHD were recognised for their work on the Centennial Park Wetland and Yakamia Living Stream project in Albany.
Warick Irving recently left his post at CBRE and has started his own business Industrious Property Group. Congratulations to Warick, we wish him all the best in his future endeavours and look forward to continue engaging with him on all things industrial and logistics.
