Former Premier to join DevelopmentWA board

Lands Minister Ben Wyatt announced last Friday Hon. Alan Carpenter had been appointed to serve on the DevelopmentWA board for the next two years. Mr Carpenter served as WA Premier between 2006 and 2008, before leading the Corporate Affairs team at Wesfarmers until 2018.

The former Premier replaces property industry leader and Residential Committee member Kylee Schoonens, who served on the WA Land Authority and Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority boards prior to DevelopmentWA’s inception a year ago.  

Harvis appoints new Financial Controller

Perth-based fund manager Harvis has appointed Lauren Henderson as its new Financial Controller. Ms Henderson joins Harvis with a background in accounting, auditing and climate sustainability, having spent time with PwC and a range of listed companies in the mining and resources sector.
