Local success story and Property Council WA neighbour acquired by global facilities management giant, WA’s best Retirement Village manager announced and well-known planning firm appoints a new General Manager.

Longstanding Property Council member HFM Asset Management has been acquired by global asset, facilities and real estate services giant, BGIS. HFM, led by founder Ian Knox, has operated in the energy advisory space for over two decades, going from strength to strength and expanding interstate.

Visitors to Property Council offices at Australia Place will be familiar with HFM, who are our neighbours on the Mezzanine Level, and are represented on our Commercial, Retirement Living and Future Directions committees. We congratulate Ian and the team on this exciting new chapter for HFM.

The 2020 Programmed WA Village Manager of the Year Award winner is Paul Mooney, Village Manager at Lendlease’s Timberside Villas in Woodvale. Award judge Sigrid Adams said Paul had shown great enthusiasm and exception managerial skills, creating a great atmosphere at Timberside Villas and becoming a well respected member of the village community.

As winner of the award, Paul receives a trophy and a gift from Programmed Property Services. He is also in contention to win the National Programmed Award for Village Manager of the Year, due to be announced in mid-November. CLE Town Planning recently announced that experienced planner Eleni Thorman has been appointed as General Manager. Eleni is a strong contributor to Property Council advocacy as a member of our Residential Committee. Congratulations to Eleni on your promotion.
