The old saying ‘new year, new me’ has never rung truer as a number of familiar faces start 2021 with a bang in new roles.

Property Council WA Immediate Past President, Tanya Trevisan, has commenced as Development Director at Frasers Property Australia. Tanya is an award winning and well-respected figure within the WA property industry, joining Frasers with a vast array of senior experience in the residential development space.

New Property Council member Edith Cowan University has appointed Sean Henriques as Program Director of the University of the Future Program. Sean joins ECU from DevelopmentWA where he was Executive General Manager and formerly Chief Executive Officer of the old Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority. Sean’s appointment comes at a time when ECU are beginning the process to develop their new CBD campus at the Perth City Link site, as part of the Perth City Deal.

Karen Wright has been promoted to Regional Director at Urbis, taking over from Ray Haeren. Karen will lead the Urbis team in WA while also rejoining our Industrial Lands and Infrastructure Committee. Ray will continue at Urbis in his role as their national Group Director – Planning, leading their national planning work.

NS Group has appointed Anna Broughton as a Director, having previously been the WA and Northern Territory State Manager for NS Group. Anna also recently completed a term on the Property Council’s Diversity and Inclusion Committtee.

Corporate Partner and leading WA law firm Lavan have announced a range of promotions, including the appointment of Amber Crosthwaite as Partner in Seniors Living, Aged Care and Disability law. Amber has recently been appointed to our Retirement Living Committee for the next two years, having joined Lavan from Thomson Geer.

Other Lavan appointments include Rebekah O’Brien as Special Counsel in their Property & Leasing Team, Jennifer Keane as Special Counsel in their Construction and Infrastructure team and the return of Jesse Way to Lavan’s Construction and Infrastructure team as Senior Associate.

Clarity Communications has appointed City of Perth councillor, Brent Fleeton, as Senior Advisor. Brent joins Clarity from his most recent role in the Corporate Affairs team at NBN, while also having run his own public relations and corporate affairs firm.
