The shortlist for the decade’s first edition of the 40under40 awards has been released, with local property professionals well represented among the nominees, while the State Government has also appointed a Property Council member to the Fremantle Ports board.

The 40under40 awards recognise the achievements and potentials of WA-based business people under the age of 40. In 2020, a number of our members have staff nominated for these significant awards in the WA business community. Member nominees include:

Paola Magni, Murdoch University

Tamara Heng, Lavan

Kukame McPierzie, Woods Bagot

Joep Vaessen, GHD

Town Team Movement CEO Jimmy Murphy has also been nominated.

In addition to the main awards, you can vote in the People’s Choice Award. Voting in the People’s Choice Award closes on Tuesday 11 February. You can find the full list of nominees and voting portal here.

Award winners will be announced in late March. Good luck to our nominated members!

Murdoch University Professor Kate Lewins has been appointed to the Fremantle Ports board. Professor Lewins joins the board with significant experience and knowledge in Maritime Law.
