Tell us a little bit about your background before joining the Property Council:
Before I came to the Property Council I worked in a policy and research role at the Parliament of Queensland, and before that I practised as a lawyer. I love working in public policy because I view it as the interface between law and society.
What drew you to the Property Council?:
I wanted to work for a highly respected and influential advocacy organisation, where I would be able to work with people who are experts and leaders in their fields. I also wanted to engage intellectually with the many complex and interesting policy and advocacy issues facing Australia’s largest industry – property.
What are your hopes for the property industry?:
My hope is that it can continue to thrive, and in turn, create places where our ever-changing and growing population can thrive as well. I am so excited to see everything that’s in store for South East Queensland, I feel very lucky to be working with the property industry at this important time.
