Meet the Boss: Kingsley Andrew

The ‘Meet the Boss’ breakfast series kicked off on Wednesday 29 April 2015 with Stockland hosting an intimate boardroom breakfast for a select group of attendees. Kingsley Andrews, General Manager of Residential Development (Qld) – Stockland, shared his career journey to date and views on the current market drivers.

Kingsley shared with the attendees the (many) ‘ups’ of his career but also the matters he would have, in hindsight, given greater attention. Kingsley described his work throughout different areas of Australia and shared his insight on the differing trends between the States, and the effect this is having on those respective markets.

Kingsley also discussed Stockland’s journey post-GFC and the need to re-think and re-work its strategy to keep on as a true market leader.

In response to attendee questions regarding housing affordability, recent rate cuts and market trends within SEQ, Kingsley shared his insights as to the trends he is seeing within Stockland, including a relatively cautious approach to residential home buying presently in Queensland.
