Meet the Boss: Ben McGrathProviding another unique insight into one of the property industry’s highly revered Bosses, the Future Directions Committee held its third Exclusive Boardroom Breakfast on the 19th of May, featuring Ben McGrath, Managing Director of Queensland – Knight Frank Australia. Hosted by Knight Frank Brisbane in their brand new office, attendees were able to inspect their impressive outdoor entertaining area and internal fitout. During the intimate Boardroom Breakfast, Ben discussed his passion for the property industry starting at a young age, working at a number of local real estate agencies. Ben’s presentation also covered his time spent working in Shanghai and the benefits he gained by working in a foreign property market. With over 20 years experience within the commercial real estate industry, Ben answered numerous questions about the current state of the Brisbane property market and its future outlook. Appointed as Managing Director of the Queensland business earlier this year, Ben views the opportunity to build upon an already successful global company as an exciting prospect. Ben is determined to achieve a simple vision for the Queensland business – “not necessarily to be the biggest, but ultimately be the best real estate agency.” The Property Council would like to thank Ben McGrath for offering up his time and also hosting the event.
