What are your core business activities?
ABA Group is an all in one service, end to end property development group. We work closely as an established team to shape and deliver innovative new and exciting projects. We bring the combined knowledge and benefits of architecture, construction, finance and accounting as well as legal services. Our development projects include commercial buildings, house and land packages, apartment/unit developments in sought out locations. ABA Group property portfolios have been developed and packaged to provide ease of low or high-level investment and excellent short and long-term growth potential for investors.

What attracted you to the Property Council?
ABA Group is a growing and motivated property developer/builder. As we flourish, we hope to have the leading advocate for Australia’s $600 billion property industry advocating alongside with us, creating prosperity, jobs and strong communities all over Australia. We realise that the Property Council of Australia encompasses a plethora of opportunities for research, publishing and especially networking within the property industry. We are attracted to the values and mission of the Property council of Australia and aim to collaborate with other members to hence make a difference within our industry. We look forward to actively partaking in conferences, forums and events as well as award ceremonies in the future.

What are the issues of importance to your company that the Property Council can work with you on?
There is still significant amount of red tape with development application and rezoning approvals at local and state level. Property council with its influential members can lobby to make the approval process simpler and easier. The number issue of rising cost of housing cost can be reduced by easier processes which will reduce time and hence overall cost to the end buyer.

What do you see as the biggest opportunity for the NSW property industry in the next 12 months?
The NSW property industry has always been the leader in Australia and the state with most opportunities. With the ever-changing household needs and the increasing living expenses and the household income not increasing to meet the cost of living. ABA group has identified a new type of living to meet the consumer needs. We are implementing all in one services in the new apartment complexes we are developing. The new developments will have dry cleaning, café/kitchen and child minding services for the working couples to make it easier and save time from their time restricted days.

What do you see as the biggest challenge for the NSW property industry in the next 12 months?
One of the biggest challenges in the NSW property industry would have to be the increased difficulties in funding projects, whether that be from the banks or private lenders.
