McMahon Services Northern Territory
McMahon Services NT is a privately owned, industry-leading civil construction an environmental contractor. We’ve been a part of the Northern Territory for 20 years since our first project – the demolition of the Stokes Hill Power Station in 1997.
Our parent company, McMahon Services, was established in 1990 in South Australia by brothers David and Andrew McMahon. Today McMahon Services is one of Australia’s largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
Our business has achieved significant year on year growth and operational diversity, driven by our expertise and can-do attitude.
The synergies between the Darwin industry and McMahon Services’ specific skill sets fostered the investment in and growth of the NT division. McMahon Services was soon running regular projects in Darwin, and it wasn’t long before a permanent presence was needed to service the demand. In 1998, our first Northern Territory office opened in Darwin.
Today more than staff work across the three McMahon Services locations around the Territory – in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine, and also support Intract Indigenous Contractors working tin the Aboriginal Communities of Manindrida and Gunbalanya.
We’re proud to have been an integral part of the Northern Territory’s growth, not only in Darwin, but in regional and remote areas as well. McMahon Services was a lead contractor on the $672 million Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program (SIHIP) project across 72 Indigenous communities throughout the NT.
Our quick deployment, quality finishing and culturally responsive services mean we excel in regional and remote work that others find difficult.
