Market to Riverbank Public Art Program: Expressions of Interest

Over the past decade the Government of South Australia and the City of Adelaide have been reviewing how under-utilised spaces can be used to enliven the city, reinforcing it as our economic, social and cultural heart with a growing population.

To this end the state government and City of Adelaide have made a joint investment of $14.6 million to create an exciting and vibrant connection between the Adelaide Central Market and the Adelaide Riverbank. The Market to Riverbank link includes the upgrade of Bank Street, Leigh Street, Topham Mall, Bentham and Pitt Streets.

Placemaking is at the heart of the Market to Riverbank link project and the delivery of a public art program is a key part of it.

This is your chance to get involved and help breathe new life into these streets and laneways using your artistic talent.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the Market to Riverbank link public art program.

Artists wishing to submit an EOI must download the EOI document and submission forms from the Tenders SA website. Applications and any enquires must be lodged via the same website.

Applications close 21 March 2017.
