Local Government Rates Policy submission

The Property Council is lodging a submission to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Environment and Planning Inquiry into Local Government Rate Capping.

The Inquiry is seeking public input for the purpose of monitoring the implementation of local government rates capping and the variation framework, announced in January by the State Government.

A review into the design of the framework is being progressed by the Essential Services Commission with a draft report scheduled for late July and the final report in October this year.
