Lights On At Subi Strand

The completion of Subi Strand, Finbar Group’s 245 apartment development on Hood Street, Subiaco, was celebrated last week with the lighting of its spectacular public artwork.

The Subi Strand’s public artwork, created by artist Stuart Green, features a series of suspended LED lights that come into effect every evening with a sequenced light performance.

Mayor Heather Henderson of the City of Subiaco officially lit the sculpture at a VIP event.

“We are delighted to welcome the new Subi Strand residents to the area and believe that this apartment development really has set a new benchmark for our community,” Mayor Henderson said.

Mr Ronald Chan, Chief Operations Officer for Finbar said, “Subiaco has a reputation for its distinctive culture and high level of fashion and as such Subi Strand reflects all these traits,” Mr Chan said.

The $170 million development features a dining room for residents, heated swimming pool, full gym, resident’s lounge and theatrette.
