Land Services CommercialisationA unique opportunity exists for a private sector party to become the exclusive Service Provider to deliver a range of transactional land services and functions on behalf of the Government under a long term commercialisation arrangement.Under the Proposed Transaction, it is expected that the Government will enter into an exclusive 40-year arrangement with the successful Service Provider to:Deliver certain transaction processing and customer services (currently provided by the Land Titles Office);Deliver certain valuation services (currently provided by the State Valuation Office); andCommercialise Land Services’ data and to innovate new products and services (subject to Government approval).The Registrar-General and the Valuer-General will have the responsibility for maintaining oversight over the Service Provider and for ensuring compliance with strict service level and integrity standards. All current legal protections under the Torrens title system will be preserved, including the Government’s guarantee of indefeasibility of title backed by the Assurance Fund.The purpose of the attached flyer below is to provide preliminary information about Land Services, the Proposed Transaction and the Proposed Process.
