Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations Ride to Cure 2016 In 2016 team VeloUnitas will again be participating in the Ride to Cure Juvenile Diabetes. The annual event starts and finishes at the Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre and sees riders complete two laps of the Barossa Valley course. Daniel Rosato of Southern Cross Care started the team six years ago with the help of industry peers and other members of the Property Council. Daniel wanted to utilise his contacts in the construction industry, hence the team name VeloUnitas – Velo (cycling) + Unitas (Latin for unity). Since inception, the team has raised in excess of $1k for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Greg Vincent of Master Plan SA (Chair of the Planning and Urban design Committee) is taking part in his fourth ride and Master Plan is also a sponsor of riders’ kits. Other 2016 sponsors include Walter Brooke, Sarah Constructions, MFY, GHD, Bestec, Dsquared & Rider Levett Bucknall.
