Jobs Jump Start program for Scenic Rim

Scenic Rim Regional Council has launched the Scenic Rim Jobs Start initiative. The program focuses on the construction of new commercial and industrial facilities.

Infrastructure charges up to a maximum cap of $400,000 can be waived for qualifying developments that are completed no later than the end of December 2016.

Developments completed by December 2017 will receive a 75 per cent discount and those finished by the end of 2018 will receive a per cent discount.

The incentive will only apply to a reduction in infrastructure charges relating to Council’s infrastructure networks. It does not relate to water supply and sewerage infrastructure networks managed by Queensland Urban Utilities.
