Brisbane City Council has released a range of ideas received as part of the Inner Spark consultation.
Inner Spark is intended to compile a range of ideas that could transform Brisbane’s city centre ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Brisbane City Council has sought ideas that:
- Create more to see and do, promote access and inclusion
- Improve the cycle network, enhance river connections, upgrade public transport, improve connections to inner city green space
- Stage iconic events, deliver creative lighting, grow the visitor economy
- Green our city, create walkable streets, activate small spaces
- Facilitate growth, plan our Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games legacy, elevate our global city
- Are clean, green, sustainable, carbon positive
- Respond, adapt and rebuild to challenging conditions
The Property Council was pleased to work with Brisbane City Council on Inner Spark at a recent member workshop and looks forward to continuing to provide ongoing input throughout the remainder of the consultation period.
