Infrastructure Victoria a key victory for growth The Property Council has claimed victory and congratulated the State Government on the passage of the Infrastructure Victoria Bill through Parliament. This marks a key win for the Property Council, which over the years has continued to call for a non-political advisory body to bring greater certainty to Victoria’s infrastructure planning and delivery.The agency will be responsible for identifying Victoria’s short, medium and long term infrastructure priorities over the next 30 years, in a strategy document which will inform key Government investment decisions through its five year Infrastructure Plan.Infrastructure Victoria will also be tasked with assessing business cases for major projects, and publishing research on a range of infrastructure related issues.The Property Council looks forward to working closely with the Government through Infrastructure Victoria to secure a strong economic future for Victoria.
