Infrastructure Deal for Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone

The State Government has signed a $1.2 billion deal to deliver essential infrastructure to the Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone Priority Development Areas (PDAs).

The deal – between the State Government, Logan City Council and nine key developers – will deliver the infrastructure required to support growth over the next four decades.

Flagstone and Yarrabilba were declared PDAs in 2010 and are expected to accommodate high levels of population and jobs growth under the ShapingSEQ South East Queensland Regional Plan 2017. The precincts are expected to have a combined population of 200,000 by 2066.

Across the two development areas, many services and facilities have already been delivered, including primary schools, retail precincts, the Yarrabilba Family and Community Place, sports and community hub and major sports and recreational parks.
