Industry legends honoured

Industry legends honouredTwo of the Queensland property industry’s own have been honoured in the Australia Day honours list. Both Allan Pidgeon and Robin Fardoulys have been invested as Members of the Order of Australia.Allan Pidgeon, who serves a Director of his family’s iconic Queensland property business – F A Pidgeon & Son Pty Ltd, has been honoured for his significant service to the community through a range of community roles, including as President of the National Flag Association (Qld), a Trustee of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust and Director of Mater Hospital Foundation.Robin Fardoulys has been awarded the honour following his significant service to the building and construction industry, to standards and policy development, and to tertiary education. Robin has served as National President of the Australian Institute of Building and as Chairman of the Queensland Government’s ConstructionQ initiative.
