Hotel Approval Sign of Smart Incentive Program

The approval of the Westin Hotel development application at the old FESA House location is a great example of industry and government coming together to devise an effective incentive program for an alternative use of a prime site.The 3-room Westin Hotel is expected to completed by the end of 2017. The incentive package included a range of development and planning bonuses.

With more ageing commercial office properties in Perth, the Property Council will seek opportunities to demonstrate how similar incentive programs can be delivered to facilitate adaptive reuses of old-buildings.
