A resurgence in minority groups, following the State election is also threatening to stall developments and investments in WA.

It appears anti-development groups in Perth are testing the Government’s resolve to kick-start the WA economy by opposing development applications for projects that will create thousands of jobs.

The State planning system is working well to deliver projects that contribute to communities but more needs to be done to ensure the process is as streamlined and efficient as possible.

Our members have come to us with their concerns and we have written to the Minister for Transport; Planning; and Lands to raise the issue.
