Government Seeks Feedback on Yeronga PDA

The Queensland Government is seeking feedback on the proposed development scheme for the Yeronga Priority Development Area (PDA).

The site is approximately 3-hectares, including land bound by Villa Street to the South, Park Road to the West, the Beenleigh-Gold Coast Rail corridor to the North, and Yeronga State High School to the east.

The PDA will offer new residential property, retail space and other mixed-use developments, with the development scheme also delivering a new community hub and community centre.

The development scheme sets out the plan for development within the PDA, outlining the preferred land use and infrastructure networks.

Economic Development Queensland declared the former Yeronga TAFE site a PDA last August, following the Property Council’s ‘Six Sites Report, Redevelopment of Surplus Government Land to Stimulate the Queensland Economy 2017‘, which made the business case for development on the site.

Submissions will help guide the renewal of the site and are due by Friday 17 May

Two community sessions are being held:

Date:    Tuesday 7 May
Time:     6.00 pm to 8.00 pm
Venue:   Yeronga State High School Library (via Oakwood Street)

Date:    Saturday 11 May
Time:     10.00 am to 12.00 pm
Venue:   Yeronga State High School Library (via Oakwood Street)
