Government reviews Energy Saver IncentiveThe Victorian Government is seeking public input for its review of the Victorian Energy Saver Incentive, otherwise known as the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET).VEET is a market based scheme that aims to encourage reduced energy consumption in businesses and households through the use of energy efficient technology and equipment.The review follows the Government’s decision, in late 2014 to continue and strengthen the scheme. Feedback is being sought for the scheme’s modelling of costs and benefits, targets and the various opportunities for greater participation by large business. The closing date for submissions is Monday, 11 May 2015.
