Government real estate agents panel to be createdThe NSW Government is to establish a prequalified panel of real estate sales agents who will be ready to participate in projects such as the sale of government-owned properties. Previously, Government Property NSW would appoint agencies on a project by project basis. The establishment of the panel will eliminate the need to go through a lengthy procurement process for each project, saving time and money.Agents are being sought on the panel with experience in all types of property transactions including residential, commercial, industrial and heritage. Agents will be appointed for two years. The Property Council supports the NSW Government’s plans to continue divesting underutilised and surplus property assets.Expressions of interest for the prequalified real estate sales agents panel close on 4 December 2014.
