Goods Shed To Be Made GoodAs part of LandCorp’s Claremont on the Park development, the heritage listed Goods Shed will be transformed into a cultural facility by FORM.The facility will act as a creative hub and feature a gallery, events space, a curated program of artist residences and a coffee window.LandCorp Chief Executive Frank Marra said that the activation of the Goods Shed is a key feature of the Claremont on the Park development which is realising the potential of underutilised land and turning it into a thriving residential community.”FORM’s proposal of using the facility as a location for community engagement and cultural interaction would benefit the wider Claremont community while reflecting LandCorp’s values in urban regeneration.””A landscaped forecourt will also provide an attractive new public space in front of the heritage building where people can sit and relax.”It is intended that the restored Goods Shed will open to the public in early 2016.
