Gold Coast City Plan Updates

Consultation is underway on the first major package of updates to the Gold Coast City Plan.

The updates are divided into four components; Major Update 1, Major Update 1B, Major Update to City Plan Policies (Schedule 6) and the Local Government Infrastructure Plan.

Prominent changes in the updates include greater clarity on where housing on lots less than 400 square metres is deemed appropriate, and updates of flood overlay mapping to reflect State Government criteria.

Submissions are due by 5pm on 15 November 2017. The Property Council is currently developing an industry response to the update package.
