Global Summit of Women

Sydney will become the first city in Australia to hold the Global Summit of Women when it takes place in April 2018.

The Global Summit of Women has been running for 27 years and was conceived as the nexus at which all sectors – public, private and nonprofit – would come together under the common vision of dramatically expanding women’s economic opportunities globally through exchanges of working solutions and creative strategies forged by women leaders in different parts of the world.

The event is expected to attract more than 1000 business and government leaders from over 80 countries and will showcase Australia as a nation striving for gender equality.

The summit will showcase strategies from around the world aimed at addressing bias against women.
