Get ready for the National Retirement Living Awards 2018
The 2018 National Retirement Living Awards will honour the best and most innovative people and projects in our sector – and this year, we’re adding one brand new awards category.
The inaugural Awards in 2017 were incredibly well received, with nearly 70 nominations received from companies operating in the retirement living sector, either as village owner or operator, a developer or service provider.

We added four new awards, recognising excellence in design, refurbishment, innovation and marketing, as well as continuing our long running Village Manager of the Year and Future Leader of the Year awards.
All of these awards are up for grabs again in 2018, as well as a brand new award: the Salesperson of the Year.
The Salesperson of the Year will be awarded to an outstanding retirement living sales representative, who achieves outstanding sales results and delivers an exceptional customer experience to incoming residents.
To be involved in the 2018 National Retirement Living Awards, put these key dates in your diary now:
- Nominations will open on Monday 26 March
- The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday 18 May
- Finalists for each category will be announced on Friday 22 June
- The awards will be presented at a gala dinner in Canberra on Thursday 29 November, as part of the National Retirement Living Summit
