Further road closures on George St from 3 December
From Thursday 3 December, the second section of George Street closes for light rail construction. This means drivers will no longer be able to use George Street between King and Park streets. Delivery vehicles, private vehicles and taxi travel in the CBD will be affected.
To help businesses prepare, Transport for NSW are holding free Travel Choices workshops for businesses in the CBD. The workshops cover:
- Construction timelines
- Potential impacts to staff, customers and servicing and delivery
- Step-by-step guide on how to complete a ‘Travel Action Plan’ for your business
By the end of the workshop, you will walk away with the tools needed to ensure your business is ahead of the changes.
