Fridays in the City campaign off to a flying start

The Property Council’s Fridays in the City campaign launched on Friday 21 May. This member-led initiative is already off to a flying start with the city centre abuzz with live music, freebies, discount deals and building activations across the CBD, and continuing until Friday 25 June. We have also been overwhelmed by the uptake of the campaign through media channels, enthusiastic member participation and active engagement by local retailers, who have been doing it tough since the pandemic began in early 2020. This campaign aims to break the habits of people opting to work from home on a Friday and incentivise workers to come back into the city centre to collaborate with team members, do some shopping or knock off early for a drink. Keep an eye out in your building for activations and pop down to the Queen St Mall couches this Friday morning to have a chat with one of the Property Council’s team.
