Flood Mitigation – Rapid Creek, Alice Springs and Katherine Alice Springs Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee The first meeting of the Alice Springs Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee was held on 1 March 2016 in Alice Springs. Recent updates and increases to property insurance premiums have also occurred, which has resulted in the public’s perception that the increased premiums are linked to the recently updated flood mapping. The two are not related and changes to insurance premiums are not as a result of the updated maps. eBulletin for Flood Mitigation Works A monthly update of flood mitigation works in Darwin is now available to subscribers.
