Finalists announced for 2015 Premier’s Sustainability Awards
26 finalists have been announced for this year’s Premier’s Sustainability Awards, including a number of member organisations of the Property Council.
The University of Melbourne was named a finalist in the category for Built Environment for the Melbourne School of Design, a sustainable academic facility designed collaboratively by John Wardle Architects and NADAAA.
Two more educational initiatives by the University were also recognised – the Sustainability Business Clinic and the Growing Green Guide for Melbourne.
The Cities of Melbourne, Stonnington and Port Philip were collectively announced as a finalist along with the City of Yarra, under the category for Government, for the Growing Green Guide for Melbourne Project initiated by the Inner Melbourne Action Plan.
Now in its 13th year, The Premier’s Sustainability Awards celebrates outstanding leadership, creativity and innovation from organisations in their use and conservation of Victoria’s resources.
The winners of the Awards will be revealed at the Awards ceremony on Thursday 29 October 2015.
