Fantastic Contract Roles in Property
As August descends, the busy volume of job activity experienced through June and July is showing no signs of abating. Currently, the strongest areas of demand are for permanent personnel in property management, operations/facilities management, community housing, valuations and for temporary administrators in both property in real estate. Here are two fantastic contract roles Edge Recruitment are currently working on.
Facilities Coordinator (full time contract)
- 3 month + contract assignment
- 80% office based with some site visits
- Based in the CBD
With departmental changes about to occur, we have a busy role for an experienced facilities co-ordinator to work with a team where significant change is occurring to the portfolio of properties.
Reporting to a Senior Facilities Manager and working as part of a small team across a variety of commercial assets, duties will include; liaison with contractors, building maintenance (planned and reactive), managing small capital works projects, WHS and risk management and much more.
A strong understanding of managing maintenance for commercial property is essential as is intermediate to advanced computer skills. If you are available to start in the next 1-2 weeks, have experience across a range of assets and can manage a busy workload we want to hear from you!
Project Manager (part-time contract)
- Varied role working with skilled property professionals
- 6 month contract starting in 1-2 weeks
- Offering total flexibility of hours 2 – 3 days per week (a rare opportunity)
Working as part of a friendly and professional team, this role will work on projects that have been through the design phase and are ready for tender.
The ideal candidate will have a background in design, construction, facilities or project management. We are looking for a confident project manager that will be able to hit the ground running with proven hands on experience in a similar role.
