EPA Inquiry – Public Consultation
A major independent inquiry into the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is seeking views on issues related to the EPA and ways government can respond to future challenges.
Public consultations in 17 locations across Victoria will be held by the Ministerial Advisory Committee to gather input from businesses, local residents and government representatives on the future role of the environmental regulator.
The consultations will be held at Wodonga, Shepparton, Werribee, Warrnambool, Coburg, Bairnsdale, Traralgon, Richmond, Horsham, Ballarat, Bendigo, Frankston, Geelong, Sunshine, Dandenong, Ringwood and Mildura.
Key themes to be discussed include land use planning, public health, emergency management, climate change and better approaches to regulation and consultation.
