EOI Open for Retail Property of the Year Awards Judges

The Property Council’s Queensland Retail Committee is seeking expressions of interest (EOIs) for the next generation of retail property judges.

Ahead of the 2019 Queensland Retail Property of the Year Awards, interested individuals are encouraged to submit an EOI through the Queensland Retail Awards website.

Prospective judges are sought with industry expertise in one or more of the following categories:
• Design – for newly constructed centres or those that have undergone an extension or refurbishment.
• Presentation – for existing centres, this considers how well the centre is maintained and presented. This category specifically ignores how current/modern the design of the centre and finishes are.
• Food – for food precincts and tenancies whether as part of a centre or stand alone.
• Marketing – looks at the creativity and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Innovation – for new ideas in retailing or retail construction or operations.

The judging period will run from 20 June 2019 to 23 July 2019 and judges will need to commit the equivalent of one full day per week for this period.

Judges must also be from companies that are members of the Property Council of Australia.
