Energy Saver Incentive launches consultation on project based activitiesThe State Government has released consultation documents on proposed changes to the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET).The VEET scheme enables Victorian businesses and houses to access a range of energy efficiency products and services, which contribute to a state-wide target for energy savings. A key part of the consultation includes proposed Project Based Activity methods. The Property Council welcomes these proposals, having long advocated for the introduction of methodologies which capture the potential energy savings generated by large energy users. We believe active engagement of large energy users should be a high priority as the Victorian Government looks to strengthen the VEET.
