Energy Efficiency Certification Scheme open for applicationsThe Energy Efficiency Council has announced that applications for the Energy Efficiency Certification Scheme will open on 27 April 2015.The Scheme is Australia’s only professional certification for individuals that lead and manage comprehensive energy retrofits of commercial buildings. It provides building owners and managers a reliable way to determine whether a project leader has the knowledge and skills required to manage a complex energy upgrade.The Scheme offers two levels of certification; ‘Certified Energy Efficiency Specialist’ for individuals with experience working as part of project teams and ‘Certified Energy Efficiency Leader’ for seasoned energy efficiency professionals with extensive skills and experience. Energy efficiency professionals interesting in applying for certification should register as soon as possible at www.efficiencycertification.org.au
