Economic Recovery Plan roadmap outlines more eased restrictions
From 1am Friday 25 June there will be additional easing of COVID-19 restrictions, particularly for shopping centre and food court precincts. Indoor venues can now increase from one person per two square metres to three people per four square metres. Additionally, no restrictions will apply on outdoor places and self-service food premises. Industry COVID-safe plans will now be replaced with a standard check list.
While more venues including food courts will be required to use the Check in Queensland App, these restrictions will help further our economic recovery, particularly in the hospitality and retail sectors, who have been hit hardest.
