Does VET match industry requirements?

Property Council members in the property services sector are invited to have their say on workforce skills development and training in Queensland.

Grant Thornton is running a research project on behalf of the Queensland Government (through the Ministerial Industry Commission), and is gathering data on the industry skill needs of businesses in the property services sector.

This research will be used by Government to more closely match public investment in vocational education and training (VET) with the needs of industry and employers.

As part of this research Grant Thornton has developed a survey to ascertain:
– Industry’s key priorities for workforce skills development
– Gaps in labour and skill supply
– The suitability of current training provision.

This survey is now open, and is available here. It should take about 15 minutes to complete.
