Devine wins contract for major Brisbane projectDevine Constructions has won the contract for Walker Corporation’s $1 million Westmark Milton Development in Brisbane. With a design review in progress, construction is expected to start in late July.The Westmark Milton project is one of three new external client construction projects for Devine, the other two being Pointcorp Developments’ Vida development and Chrome Properties’ Alex Perry-branded apartment project, both of which are in Brisbane. The trio of projects puts Devine Constructions’ current construction pipeline at more than $175 million.Westmark Milton will be designed by Brisbane-based firm bureau^proberts and will comprise two towers up to 20 storeys. The towers will contain 277 one- and two-bedroom apartments, plus ground-level retail tenancies.Devine Constructions is part of the ASX-listed Devine Group. In the past few years, it has expanded its operations to provide construction services to clients external to the Devine Group. It has completed close to $1 billion worth of inner-city apartment and commercial development projects in Queensland, Victoria and South Australia in the last decade.
