Developer contributions – a new policy for the future 

Join us as we host the Honourable Rita Saffioti MLA, Minister for Transport; Planning who will be making an announcement on the revised State Planning Policy for Developer Contributions.

The Minister is expected to outline proposed reforms to Local Government Community Infrastructure Contributions as part of a broader review of State Planning Policy 3.6 – Development Contributions for Infrastructure. 

The Minister will also brief industry on the next steps that the State Government is taking to help realise its METRONET vision, with a focus on the Bayswater and Forrestfield Precincts as well as previewing the draft Design WA Precinct Design Policy. 

Industry has been eagerly waiting for an announcement from the State Government on what these policies will look like and what impact they will have across the sector. We are thrilled to provide our members with the opportunity to be the first to hear how this policy will operate and align other major state government policies and initiatives.
