Design Excellence and Local GovernmentThe Property Council will be holding a member briefing on November 20 entitled Design Excellence and Local Government: Design Advisory Committees.Design Advisory Committees play a central role in promoting and shaping design excellence in their local government areas.The purpose of the briefing to open a dialogue as to how the property industry and local governments can more effectively deliver design outcomes that meet community, local government and developer expectations.You will have the opportunity to hear from developers, the chairs of key DACs and the Government Architect on their views of design excellence and the approval processes.The briefing will run from 4pm to 5.30pm and is free for Property Council members.If you would be interested in attending, please RSVP to [email protected].
