DA Inquiry

The ACT Legislative Assembly has announced an inquiry into engagement with the Development Application processes in the ACT.  The Standing Committee on Planning and Urban Renewal Committee will report in November 2018 and will consider the following:
1) Community engagement and participation in the Development Application process.
2) The accessibility and effectiveness of Development Application processes, including: 
3) Development Application compliance assessment and enforcement measures.
4) Development Application practices and principles used in other Australian jurisdictions.

The Committee is inviting submissions to its inquiry and should be lodged with the Committee Secretary by close of business on Friday, 1 June 2018.  We encourage members to consider making a submission or contributing to the Property Council ACT Division submission which will be coordinated by our Planning and Sustainable Development Committee.
