Cross River Rail Updates
The Queensland Government announced the successful consortia selected to build the $5.4 billion Cross River Rail Project.
Cross River Rail is a 10.2-kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills. Cross-River Rail will add four new underground stations, cut congestion times and allow the current inner-city Brisbane busses to be redirected to the outer suburbs.
The Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD)
TSD public private partnership will be delivered by PULSE.The PULSE consortium is led by CIMIC Group companies, Pacific Partnerships, CPB Contractors, and UGL with international partners DIF, BAM and Ghella.
The Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS)
UNITY Alliance brings together CPB Contractors, UGL, AECOM and Jacobs, and partners HASSELL, RCS Australia, Acmena, Martinus Rail and Wired Overhead Solutions.
The European Train Control System (ETCS)
ETCS will be delivered by Hitachi Rail STS which will introduce a new signalling system.
