CoombsBarei Constructions in Beijing
Ahead of the Inbound Shandong Mission to Adelaide, CoombsBarei Constructions accepted an invitation to attend the 2nd China Industry Influential Brands Summer Summit in Beijing.
The event was attended by companies from China wide, nominated and awarded for their business achievements.
In line with the Sino-Australia Free Trade Agreement, as part of the ceremony, the Sino-Australia International Brand Forum was introduced. This forum has been introduced as a platform for mutual business talks and information exchange among Chinese and Australian enterprises.
Kevin Webb and Ivan Kaukov of CoombsBarei Constructions, together with Abbey Threadgold from the City of Onkaparinga were invited to represent and promote the forum.
The forum was organised and facilitated by the Australian Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, of which Ivan Kaukov is the President.
“It was a great honour to attend this event” said Kevin Webb, General Manager for Coombs Barei Constructions. “CoombsBarei have operated as a commercial contractor, based in South Australia, for 46 years, so it seemed quite justified that our brand was displayed alongside the Government of South Australia and the City of Onkaparinga”.
“We are very supportive of potential opportunity that all South Australian businesses have by trading their professional knowledge and high quality produce with the Chinese”.
Webb added, “We have spoken to a number of Government representatives, contractors and suppliers in Beijing and the Hebei Province. There is a real opportunity to relay our knowledge of Australian Standards that will assist in better quality outcomes both in China and at home”.
